Be the Moon and Make the Stars Jealous

Inspiration can hit anywhere. I moved in to a new house, with amazing recessed lighting throughout. Loved the way the shadows cast as I passed the bedroom mirror. Took my camera and snapped some photos. Excited by the pictures I started sketching immediately.

I'm always reading and buying books, they're my biggest weakness. I've dreamt creating a dust jacket size illustration for awhile. With the new sketches of the wishmaster, I turned it into a book cover.

The wishmaster's seduction idea sprung from my desire to push myself. I realize I can do better, I sense I can do amazing things. I pushed to make a piece that others would be jealous of, a piece worthy of inspiration.
